Princess Leonor, 17, joined her classmates from the Military Academy of Zaragoza for the traditional offering to the Virgin of Pilar, one day before the swearing-in ceremony.
Minutes before the solemn act, the cameras captured Leonor smiling and laughing in the company of her classmates.
Princess Leonor Military Academy
Dressed in her military uniform, Princess Leonor of Spain participated in this second public military act as part of her training as the future Queen of Spain. The first was when she received her saber a few weeks after entering the Academy.
Leonor has already completed the first phase of her military training, which includes shooting exercises with different weapons and in extreme situations.

During the ceremony, Leonor waited with her classmates and showed her friendliest side, talking and smiling with those around her. She was seen relaxed and showed a great connection with everyone.
After the religious ceremony, Leonor and the other students of the academy performed a battalion formation and review, led by the director of the military academy, Manuel Perez Lopez.
After this event, Leonor will say goodbye to her first year classmates to begin a new stage in the Army. This first year of training will end next spring.
