Her attire reflects her career in the Royal Navy, which Princess Anne joined, becoming a rear admiral in 1993 and an admiral in 2012.

She has also been a general in the British Army since 2020. She wears 10 medals on her chest, including Queen Elizabeth II’s Order of the British Empire, the Naval Good Conduct and Service Medal, and the Order of St. John’s Service Medal.

    • The Order of the British Empire of Queen Elizabeth II: Established in 1917, this honorary order is awarded for distinguished service in a variety of fields, including the arts, sciences, charity, and public service. Princess Anne received this award for her contribution and service to British society.
    • Good Conduct and Naval Service Medal: This medal is awarded to members of the Royal Navy for good conduct and exemplary service. It is a form of recognition for their dedication and commitment in the performance of their duties.
    • Order of St. John Service Medal: which recognizes outstanding and long service in both the United Kingdom and various Commonwealth countries.

It is important to note that these are just some of the medals that Princess Anne wears on her uniform, and each represents a specific recognition of her service and dedication in different areas.
