Barely a month after her unforgettable oath before the Constitution, Princess Leonor is ready to return to the Congress of Deputies.

It will be this coming Wednesday, November 29, when the heiress to the throne will reappear in public to attend, together with King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, the opening ceremony of the XV Legislature of the Cortes Generales.

In the Congress of Deputies, Princess Leonor will swear the oath to the Constitution.

Having just turned 18, Leonor continues to take firm steps in her institutional preparation. This new official commitment will mean that she will have to leave the military academy in Zaragoza, where she receives training, to travel to Madrid.

Unlike her historic constitutional swearing-in, on this occasion, the princess is not expected to say a few words.

Her presence, however, will once again attract all the attention after the enormous media coverage of her previous visit to the Congress.

Leonor’s agenda has not stopped expanding since she came of age and swore allegiance to the democratic values she will one day be called upon to defend as head of state.

With her recent appearances, the heiress seeks to earn the respect and affection of the citizens, as she herself expressed.

Beyond her protocol role, Leonor’s upcoming return to the Lower House has aroused great expectations to discover what her look will be like.

Her exquisite white outfit on October 31 has consolidated her status as a fashion reference among the new generations.

Being a daytime event, she is expected to wear an elegant but not overly serious model, probably a midi dress or a set with pants following the avant-garde trail of her mother, Queen Letizia. Jewelry, few or none, dictates the protocol.

Whatever her stylistic bet, what is certain is that the spotlight will once again fall on Leonor who is already the best ambassador of the Crown among young people.

    Princess Leonor gains visibility

The popularity of Princess Leonor de Borbón among the general public has not stopped increasing since the heir to the throne came of age.

Such is her popularity that the Royal Household has set up a direct communication channel where any citizen can send her messages and send her their impressions, which allows for an unprecedented connection between the heir to the throne and the people.

In fact, according to recent polls revealed by the portal Monarquia Confidencial, 63% of Spaniards see her as a good future head of state and 78% would support classes on the Constitution in classrooms to spread the civic values that the princess represents.

With this reappearance in Congress as a backdrop, Leonor continues to forge her royal path hand in hand with proud King Felipe and Queen Letizia.
