Queen Letizia surprised this 2023 with 162 premieres and an expenditure of less than 65,000 dollars, consolidating her position as one of the European royals who bets more on fashion without being carried away by excessive spending.

Queen Letizia is the royal who premieres more but of those who spend less on clothes. It is a paradox that has a reasonable explanation.

How much has Queen Letizia spent on her 2023 wardrobe?

With 162 premieres in 2023, Queen Letizia of Spain is positioned as the European ‘royal’ who has bet more on the renewal of her wardrobe this year.

According to the annual tally of the website UFO No More, which specializes royally, the wife of King Felipe VI only spent US$64,460 to fill her closet with novelties.

This figure places her in 12th place among the 19 royal houses analyzed, far below other consorts of small but very wealthy nations such as Monaco and Luxembourg.

The key lies in Queen Letizia’s skillful combination of renowned international brands such as Carolina Herrera, Hugo Boss, Nina Ricci, and Victoria Beckham, with low-cost Spanish brands, among which Zara stands out.

And without forgetting her already characteristic reusable accessories, such as the Coreterno ring that she has been wearing since the Military Parade of 2023.

Letizia wore a tailored suit which stood out as a Sahariana-style jacket, with numerous details. It has a shirt collar, four front pockets, a built-in belt that the Queen has finished with a loop, golden jewel buttons, and Vichy print trim. The design, with French sleeves, features large shoulder pads.

It is a pattern with a straight cut skirt and slight front opening that has the great prominence in the central knot, under the chest. Midi length, it also has very pronounced shoulder pads and long sleeves. It is made of crepe fabric and has the lining in the same color. It is priced at US$170.

All of them, are affordable options that demonstrate the skill of Letizia to dress with style without excess or frivolity.
