The Princess of Wales, who is recovering from abdominal surgery at the London Clinic, has taken advantage of her time off to read the many letters and cards she has received from around the world.
This has been revealed by journalist Cameron Walker, who has highlighted the support and good wishes that the wife of Prince William has received.
Kate Middleton health update
Kate Middleton was admitted to hospital on January 16 for a planned operation not related to a serious health problem.
She is expected to stay there for ten to fourteen days and then continue her recovery at her Windsor residence for another two to three months.
Meanwhile, as journalist Emily Nash recently revealed, the Princess of Wales has been able to keep in touch with her children via video calls.
“Kate loves FaceTiming the children when she is working away overseas so I’m sure they will be in regular contact while she’s in hospital, and the kids will be keen to see her as soon as she’s well enough,” Nash said.
“She loves having her family around her so will be looking forward to getting home and having cuddles with the kids”.
“Both William and Kate are very hands-on parents – they take the kids to school, attend sports matches and concerts and try to be home for bedtime as much as they can. While Kate is in hospital, William will be at home keeping things as normal as possible.”
Kate has also enjoyed reading the hundreds of letters and cards she has received from fans around the world.

However, it is noticeable that there is still silence surrounding the Princess’s health.
Some dare to speculate that this is due to the Princess’s worrying condition, but the British press have said they are keeping quiet out of respect.
