The Infanta Sofia, the youngest daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia, is currently studying her first year of high school in an exclusive boarding school in Wales.

The young princess combines her studies with a wide range of activities organized by the school, in which she participates with enthusiasm.

One of the most recent has been a fire drill, an exercise that the school usually carries out periodically.

As Monarquía Confidencial has been able to learn from sources close to Zarzuela, the Welsh school where Sofia studies usually carries out fire drills to be prepared for any emergency.

On this occasion, the Infanta has been directly involved in one of these preventive exercises.

Apparently, all the students and staff of the center actively participated in the simulation.

Following the established protocol, they evacuated the facilities in an orderly manner and gathered at the outside meeting point to check that the count was correct.

The sources assure that Sofia fulfilled her role and acted responsibly, like the rest of her colleagues.

This type of practice is part of the school’s emergency plans and has the important function of ensuring that all occupants of the building know how to proceed in the event of a real emergency.

The activity went smoothly, identifying areas for improvement and strengthening the preparation of students and staff to deal with incidents, which is essential when you are responsible for the safety of children.

The Infanta Sofia has spent several months enjoying a new stage at UWC Atlantic College, the same center where her sister, Princess Leonor, spent two years of her life.

Although little is known about her day-to-day life at the boarding school as the school is characterized by its discretion and academic excellence, thanks to social networks we have discovered some little-known things about Sofia’s stay in Wales.

Recently it was possible to know one of the aspects that arouses more curiosity: how is the room of the Infanta Sofia.

Through images shared by an Instagram profile dedicated to the Bourbon sisters, it was known as the cozy and functional bedroom, with its own bathroom and plenty of space to store their belongings.

Another aspect that we have been able to know is that the Infanta Sofia enjoys Sunday brunch.

This is one day a week when the boarding school moves away from balanced and nutritious menus and opts for croissants, doughnuts, and other handmade sweets to accompany coffee, tea, or juice. There are also eggs, sausage, and homemade hamburgers.

This high-fat menu might worry Queen Letizia, who is known for keeping a strict diet plan.
