The promising future of the Infanta Sofia: qualities and closeness with her sister Leonor that augur a prominent role in the Crown

Infanta Sofia, the youngest daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia, has a promising future full of opportunities ahead of her.

At the age of 16, the young princess has just begun her studies at the Atlantic College in Wales, following in the footsteps of her sister Leonor.

Although her destiny is not to rule as the future queen of Spain, Sofia possesses qualities that point to her playing an important role in the Royal Household.

Sofia shares a close relationship with Leonor, the heir to the Spanish throne.

The two sisters have demonstrated on numerous occasions how close they are, supporting each other in official acts and important events.

A clear example was Leonor’s recent coming of age, where Sofia was by her side.

They also share similar tastes, such as their fondness for pop music and, specifically, for Italian singer Teo Bok. They were even able to meet him in person after a concert last year.

In that meeting, they could appreciate the high sense of responsibility of the young Sofia, who did not want to entertain too much of having pending obligations, as revealed by the singer in an interview.

This dedication and formality are also evident in her studies. Like Leonor, Sofia is studying for the International Baccalaureate in Wales, alternating her education with official events with her parents and sister in Spain.

This suggests that the Infanta could continue to be linked to the Crown in the future, once she completes her academic stage.

Although her destiny is not to become queen consort, Sofia has qualities that suggest that she will play an important role in the Monarchy.

Her involvement in events with the other members of the Royal Family suggests that her future could be closely linked to them.

With time and the necessary training, the youngest of Felipe and Letizia’s daughters will decide how to focus on her professional life.

Whatever her choice, she will do so with the same commitment she has shown so far in all her responsibilities.

Her closeness to Leonor also suggests that she will accompany and support her in the tasks inherent to her position as heir to the Crown.
