The recent circulation of unauthorized photographs of Princess Kate has ignited a heated debate surrounding her right to privacy and raised concerns about her health.

GB News royal correspondent Cameron Walker offered his take on the matter.

The photo of Kate Middleton generates concern

According to Walker, the controversial images were taken before 9 am. And they show Princess Kate in the passenger seat of a car driven by her mother, Carole Middleton, near Windsor Castle.

Kate is wearing dark sunglasses, and judging by the photograph Prince William’s wife was well enough to venture out.

Although the British media have chosen not to publish the unauthorized paparazzi photos, respecting the Princess’ requests for privacy, the images were published by the US gossip magazine web portal TMZ and have quickly reached social media.

The Princess of Wales was spotted in a car with her mother.

Kensington Palace has expressed disappointment over the invasion of the Princess’s privacy, with Walker stating:

“They were unauthorized paparazzi photographs. I’m getting the sense that Kensington Palace is quite upset that the Princess’s privacy was invaded in this fashion,” Walker said.

Despite the controversy, Walker notes a positive aspect to the situation, saying:

“She seemed to look well in the images. So it puts a lot of people’s minds at ease.”

Kate’s reappearance responds to rampant speculation and unfounded conspiracy theories circulating on the Internet about the “disappearance” of the Princess.

Walker acknowledges the Palace’s stance on maintaining the Princess’s medical privacy, stating:

“I suppose in terms of all the speculation that we’ve had over the last few weeks with the hashtag, ‘where is Kate Middleton?’ There has been all these unfounded conspiracy theories springing up online, It does provide that unofficial unauthorized message of reassurance. The Princess appears to be recovering well.”

Kensington Palace has addressed the rumors, issuing a statement that reads:

“We were really clear from the start we weren’t going to provide a running commentary on the Princess of Wales’s health and only provide significant updates.”

While the unauthorized photographs have sparked a discussion on the Princess’s privacy, they have also provided a glimpse into her well-being and recovery process, offering a sense of reassurance to those concerned about her health.

However, the Palace’s stance on safeguarding her medical information remains firm, reminding the public of her right to privacy.
