The countdown for the infanta Sofia to return home has begun.
The youngest daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia is just a week away from finishing her first year at the Atlantic College of Wales and preparing her bags to enjoy the summer vacations.
On June 14, the doors of the UWC school will close for the students of the first year, and will not reopen until August.
Infanta Sofia’s school vacations
Once in Spain, Infanta Sofia will have several weeks to spend time with her family and friends.
Although the exact plans of the youngest daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia are not known, for the moment, she will be the only one on vacation.
As for the Royal Family’s official vacation, as is tradition, it will take place in the Spanish region of Mallorca.
However, before traveling to this location, Sofia has the possibility to make some getaway with friends before returning to classes in Wales.
At the end of August, Princess Leonor’s sister will have to return to Atlantic College for the second and final year of her baccalaureate.
Until then, she can only enjoy this last week before returning home and making the most of the final hours of her first year abroad.
On the other hand, Princess Leonor is also in the final weeks before finishing her first year of military training on July 15.
She is currently immersed in military exercises that have generated controversy by highlighting the privileges that the future queen has at the Military Academy.
