On May 14, 2024, Queen Mary of Denmark attended a state banquet at the Royal Palace in Oslo, Norway. The event was hosted by King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway.
This banquet was part of a special two-day state visit by King Frederik X and Queen Mary to Norway.
During this visit, the Danish royal couple also celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary.
The visit began with a grand arrival as King Frederik and Queen Mary sailed into Oslofjord on the Royal Ship Dannebrog.
They were welcomed by Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, who escorted them to the City Hall Square in the Royal Sloop.
The official welcome ceremony was held at Honnøbryggen, where King Harald and Queen Sonja greeted their guests.
Queen Mary made a stunning impression with her elegant outfit at the ceremony. She wore a white jacket by Ralph Lauren paired with a printed skirt by Erdem.
Her accessories included Piel Rosa pumps by Gianvito Rossi, a pink bag by Max Mara, and earrings gifted to her by Queen Margrethe.
