A video appearance of Kate Middleton and Prince William sparked comments about the new look of the Prince of Wales.
In recent days, rumors about a possible appearance of the Princess of Wales at the closing of the Olympic Games were on everyone’s lips.
Some British journalists even suggested that she might attend with her children. And, although Kate Middleton has indeed reappeared, she has done so in a somewhat unexpected way: in a video with her husband, Prince William, dedicated to congratulate the British Olympic team.
However, the purpose of the message has been overshadowed by the unusual image of the Prince of Wales, which has captured all the attention.
Kate Middleton’s reappearance
It is not unusual for members of the royal family to show their support for the British team, but in this video, the Prince and Princess of Wales share the limelight with other well-known UK personalities, such as former footballer David Beckham.

In their part of the message, the princes assured that they followed the competition from home and congratulate the Great Britain Olympic team for being a great inspiration for many, a message that reflects the pride and support of the Welsh people towards the athletes.
The images were shot in Norfolk, specifically in the garden of Anmer Hall, the residence near Sandringham that Queen Elizabeth gave the couple on the occasion of their wedding.
This place has been one of the couple’s retreats this summer, before their passage through Balmoral, thus following one of the great traditions of the former monarch.

Prince William’s beard
However, what has really caught the attention has been the appearance of both, especially that of William.
Normally, it is Kate who attracts the headlines with her style, but this time, her husband has been the center of all eyes.
William’s last public appearance was almost a month ago, during the final of the European Football Championship, where England faced Spain.
His appearance at that time was very different from the one seen in the recent video.
William appears with a sports shirt and a noticeably darker tan, but what is really surprising is his beard of several days, an uncommon detail in his public image.
This relaxed look suggests that he has made the most of his vacation, after a few months marked by concerns about Kate’s health.
For her part, Kate Middleton appears in the video wearing a long-sleeved striped shirt with boat neck, a classic style she usually chooses.
However, one small detail catches the eye: for the first time in a long time, the Princess of Wales has chosen not to wear her engagement ring, a jewel that she rarely takes off.
