Victoria Federica de Marichalar y Borbón, niece of King Felipe VI and granddaughter of King Emeritus Juan Carlos I, has taken an important step by giving her first interview on television.

The program chosen for this occasion was a popular Spanish program called “El Hormiguero”, where, in addition to celebrating her on-screen debut, she talked about her participation in the popular contest “El Desafío”.

It should be noted that her first television interview coincided with her 24th birthday, which made the event an even more special occasion.

    Her experience in ‘El Desafío’

When asked about her participation in “El Desafío”, Victoria confessed that she initially declined the invitation to join the program last year, but this time she decided to accept.

Among the most impressive tests she performed, she highlighted the aerial choreography, walking wrapped in fire and the apnea tests, activities she never imagined doing.

Although she initially had doubts about her participation, Victoria explained that the program’s team “made everything very easy from the first minute,” making her feel “at home.”

Despite considering herself a “very shy” person, she stated that her decision to join the competition was “the best thing she could have done,” especially having “an amazing team of contestants.”

Although at times she felt “a little overwhelmed,” especially during her adolescence, she admitted that she “adores them” and keeps in touch with some of them.

“Sometimes we try to see each other when I meet them out and about at other services of theirs. I’m so excited for them….. I hug them and they’re like, get off, get off, I’m working,” she said with a smile.
