Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, have exciting news to share — they are expecting their second child!
The couple, who are already parents to their daughter Sienna Elizabeth, born in September 2021, announced the pregnancy through Buckingham Palace on October 1st.

Beatrice, 36, is due in early spring, and the royal family is eagerly anticipating the arrival of the new addition.
In the official statement, Buckingham Palace expressed the joy of both families:
“Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together in early spring; a sibling for Wolfie, aged eight, and Sienna, aged three.”
This new chapter in their lives also brings happiness to Beatrice’s uncle, King Charles III. “His Majesty The King has been informed, and both families are delighted with the news,” the statement continued.
The announcement was accompanied by two beautiful family photos. One captured a tender moment between Beatrice and Edoardo, smiling warmly as they embraced.
The second photo was a sweet image of Edoardo walking hand-in-hand with their son, Wolfie, and their daughter, Sienna, as they strolled together through a picturesque woodland setting.
Beatrice and Edoardo’s love story began to spark public curiosity in November 2018. According to a close source, “Edoardo is a long-time friend of Beatrice’s family.”
By September 2019, Edoardo proposed during a romantic trip to Italy. Although they originally planned a spring 2020 wedding, the COVID-19 pandemic led to a change in plans. In the end, they opted for an intimate and private ceremony at Windsor Chapel, attended by just 20 guests.
In May 2021, shortly after Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie, welcomed her first child, Beatrice and Edoardo shared the news of their first pregnancy. Their daughter, Sienna, arrived in September, and her name honors Beatrice’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.
