While King Charles III heads to Australia and Samoa, Prince William is practically assuming the responsibility of the monarchy and is involved in a series of royal engagements that test his ability to perform various functions.
Amid public anticipation of Kate Middleton’s return, Prince William has paid a visit to Cornwall, where he took part in several events that have left memorable anecdotes.
Prince William in Cornwall
During his stay in Cornwall, Prince William showed a cheerful and enthusiastic attitude during his visit to Stoke Climsland School, which is located in the grounds of the Duchy of Cornwall.
Since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, William has assumed ownership of the Duchy.
His visit to the school allowed him to see first-hand the educational opportunities provided to the young people, who are interested in learning about agriculture and rural development.
In addition, the Prince of Wales had the opportunity to interact with students from Duchy College, participating in an activity that simulated a CSI-style investigative exercise alongside students from the Military and Protective Services Academy.
In an environment designed as a crime scene, Prince William closely observed the procedures being carried out by two students.
His interest in the investigation process was evident; he even offered to collaborate with the students. He actively participated in the activity, using aluminum powder and a brush to reveal fingerprints, as well as asking numerous questions of the students, which reflected his commitment and enthusiasm for the task.
This trip to Cornwall not only underscores Prince William’s commitment to education and youth development, but also highlights his willingness to actively engage in situations that encourage learning and teamwork.
With his smile and energy, the Prince of Wales continues to build his image as a proactive member of the British royal family.
