The rain did not stop Queen Letizia in her engagement this January 21.

The wife of King Felipe of Spain, arrived at the headquarters of the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER) in Madrid, under a large umbrella.

Together with her, María Dolores Ocaña, her head of secretariat, shared the umbrella and some complicit laughter, demonstrating the good harmony between the two as we have reported here in RoyalFamily.News.

Queen Letizia thus began her weekly agenda, with a working meeting with FEDER, an annual appointment she has been fulfilling since 2013 when she became its honorary president.

During these meetings, Letizia is informed about the present and future of this important cause. For the occasion, the Queen opted for a practical outfit.

To combat the chilly temperatures in Madrid, which hovered around 7 degrees, Letizia chose a black smock coat from Mango.

This long-sleeved design, with a lapel neckline, was perfectly knotted at her waist, allowing her to keep warm.

Complementing her winter look, she wore a scarf around her neck.

Underneath the coat, Letizia wore a houndstooth print blazer in white, gray and black.

She completed her ensemble with black pants with a slightly flared bottom.

As for accessories, the Queen opted for comfort without losing style.

The mother of Leonor and Sofia opted for loafers with heels from the Menorcan firm Pons Quintana, model Elena.

These shoes, made in black Nepalese leather, have stitching details on the instep, square toe, wide heel of five centimeters and non-slip rubber sole, ideal for a rainy day.

In addition, Letizia recovered a bag that she used for the first time in 202, a black bag by Mauska, model Rosario. This design, handmade with Italian Tuscany leather, features a full zipper closure, closed back pocket and interior lined with velvety suede effect cotton in ecru.

To complete her outfit, Queen Letizia chose some earrings from the Valencian firm Singularu.

The earrings, model Aro Estellar, are made of 925 sterling silver and covered with white zirconia, offering a touch of shine to her outfit.
