The Royal House of Spain has decided to move on after the scandal involving the leaked images of Princess Leonor in Chile.

The controversial images, which sparked debate in Spain, show the princess touring a shopping mall with some of her companions from the ship Juan Sebastian Elcano.

It appears that the Royal House was not at all amused by the leak of these images. So much so that, for the first time, they publicly “denounced” the use of these photos, claiming that Chilean law protects personal data.

However, to quickly turn the page, a new photo of Princess Leonor has surfaced.

The Navy has released new photos of Leonor aboard the ship, which can be interpreted as an attempt to move forward with the trip that will take her to several countries, as previously reported here on RoyalFamily.news.

In the featured photo, the princess is seen in the command room, deeply focused with her companions, checking maps and discussing the weather. They appear warm and cheerful, as if they are experiencing an incredible adventure.

The Navy is also taking the opportunity to showcase what daily life is like for the midshipmen on the ship. Classes, maneuvers, sports on deck—you name it.

The ship is expected to arrive in Valparaíso on April 4 and then proceed to Peru for Easter. It seems that Princess Leonor is thoroughly enjoying her trip, despite the initial controversy.

The Royal House, for its part, aims to present an image of normality while shielding Leonor from unwelcome media exposure.
