Infanta Sofia’s time at UWC Atlantic College is coming to an end.
A few weeks before the end of her stay at the prestigious Welsh boarding school, the youngest daughter of the King and Queen of Spain took part in the traditional graduation photo session with her classmates of the “class of 2025”.
The image, taken at the emblematic St. Donat’s Castle, marks the end of two years of academic and personal experiences in an international environment.
However, one detail has attracted attention: in the version of the photograph that has circulated on social networks, Sofia does not appear.

The reason for this decision, according to sources close to the center, has to do with a precautionary measure adopted by the Royal Household to avoid its dissemination in the media.
“Since what is happening with the images of Leonor, everything is very measured,” these sources have explained to Monarquia Confidencial, referring to the recent controversy surrounding the media exposure of the Princess of Asturias.
To avoid similar situations, it was decided to take a version of the photo with the princess’s own device, thus ensuring greater control over her image.
When is Infanta Sofia’s graduation?
Sofia de Borbon’s graduation is in May and so far it is known that only King Felipe and Queen Letizia will be present.
As we have reported here at RoyalFamiy.News, her sister, Princess Leonor is on a 6 month trip aboard the Elcano training ship, so she will not be able to attend the graduation.

According to the UWC calendar, students will leave campus on April 11 and will not have to return until April 21.
Infanta Sofia’s Future
For months, there had been speculation that Sofia might follow in Leonor’s footsteps in military training.
However, it has been confirmed that the young lady has decided not to do so.
Sofia has preferred to continue her academic training at universities outside Spain, preferring institutions in the United Kingdom or the United States.
