On the morning of April 4, 2025, Queen Mathilde of Belgium took part in the official departure ceremony at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, marking the end of her and King Philippe’s state visit to Vietnam.
The royal couple, accompanied by a delegation of Belgian officials, had spent three days in the country, engaging in cultural, educational, and diplomatic activities from April 1 to 3.
Queen Mathilde’s yellow farewell outfit
For her last appearance on Vietnamese soil, Queen Mathilde opted for a bright and warm look.
Mathilde outfit featured a vibrant “sun” yellow suit by Caroline Biss, composed of a fitted long blazer and bootcut crepe trousers.
Adding a soft contrast, she carried the light pink C’est Dior handbag, a graceful piece from Christian Dior that brought a delicate balance to the bold tone of her outfit.
Around her neck, she wore a scarf gifted by the First Lady of Vietnam.
Her accessories reflected her signature style: Barbara earrings by Christine Bekaert, simple yet striking, and her Rolex Datejust watch, a timeless piece in silver and gold with a diamond dial.
With this final ensemble, Queen Mathilde once again demonstrated her keen eye for diplomatic dressing.
