Meghan Markle once again took the stage at a familiar event: the Fortune’s Most Powerful Women summit, this time in Washington, D.C. She spoke candidly about her role as a businesswoman, her projects with Netflix, and her lifestyle brand, As Ever.
It was a relaxed conversation, but with the strategic flair that defines her. Meghan shared that her team is exploring new ways to create content, ranging from long-form programs to short videos.

“It’s amazing to sit and watch a show for 30 minutes, but how can I give you a recipe in two minutes?” she said with a laugh, revealing her continued creative activity.
During the conversation, the Duchess acknowledged that the production process for her series, With Love, Meghan, has been quite a challenge. She described it as a “year of learning” and compared her experience to the intense years of filming Suits.
Meghan admitted that producing television remains demanding, but also offers an opportunity to connect with her audience in a different way.

The idea of offering content “in different sizes,” as she put it, appears to be her new approach to adapting to the public’s digital habits.
She also hinted that she is preparing a Christmas special, a nod to her past before becoming a duchess, when she taught “advanced gift wrapping” classes between auditions.
“That’s not the full circle I was expecting, but here we are,” she joked.
Meghan is trying to rebuild her image from a more practical and creative perspective. Her renewed agreement with Netflix, which gives her greater freedom to decide what to produce and where, demonstrates her pursuit of independence.
