Every October, Oviedo becomes the epicenter of Spanish royalty, and this year was no exception. The Royal Family once again presided over the traditional concert preceding the Princess of Asturias Awards, an event that combines music and style.
The Príncipe Felipe Auditorium once again erupted with applause and cameras, welcoming King Felipe VI, Queen Letizia, and their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, who returned to Spain specifically for this occasion.

Leonor, who interrupted her military training at the General Air and Space Academy, arrived radiant and smiling, while Sofía traveled from Lisbon, where she is in her first year of university.
Both were welcomed, along with their parents, to the sound of Asturian bagpipes, a scene that has become a tradition of these events. The ever-loyal public awaited them early with flags and flowers, celebrating their family reunion at one of the most cherished events on the royal calendar.

As is often the case, style also played a key role. Queen Letizia chose a modern and sophisticated outfit: black bell-bottoms by Sybilla and a short Carolina Herrera jacket adorned with beaded fringes, in a deep blue that matched the king’s suit.

Leonor, in perfect harmony, wore a blue tweed jacket with sparkles by Emporio Armani, while Sofia opted for an elegant black Hugo Boss jumpsuit with a draped neckline.

The concert, which this year honored Brahms and Dvořák, was the perfect prelude to the grand awards ceremony, which Leonor will host.
