It appears Prince Andrew has decided to make a new move, and this time, it’s a literal one. According to The Sun, the Duke—who no longer officially uses his title—is willing to leave Royal Lodge, his lifelong residence in Windsor, but only if the agreement includes two new houses.
Yes, two. One for him and one for Sarah Ferguson, with whom, as we recall, he maintains a peculiar relationship despite being divorced for decades.

The proposal is curious: Andrew would move to Frogmore Cottage, the same residence once occupied by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle before they were evicted in 2023.

.
Sarah, meanwhile, would move to Adelaide Cottage, the current home of the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, who will soon relocate to Forest Lodge, their new residence in Windsor Great Park. It would all stay, shall we say, within the family.

Sources cited by the tabloid claim that Andrew is willing to leave, but not without his own conditions. Apparently, the prince believes both homes would offer enough space to accommodate his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, and their families.
However, within the Palace, no one is quite sure how this proposal will be received, especially after the difficult period Andrew has gone through following the loss of his titles and his withdrawal from public life.

King Charles’s brother continues to try to rebuild his image, but his decisions continue to stir controversy. The fact that his new deal revolves around mansions and comforts doesn’t help much in changing public perception.
Royal Lodge, with its 31 rooms and a value of $38 million, appears difficult to replace.
