The gala dinner honoring the Sultan of Oman was one of those events where style was the main focus. And yes, there was a lot of anticipation for Queen Letizia’s return to the Royal Palace in a gala version.

After more than two years without wearing a long dress, she reappeared with an impeccable look that reminded us why her presence on these stages always sets trends.

What did Letizia wear to dinner with the Sultan of Oman?

The Queen chose a cobalt blue dress by The 2nd Skin, a silk creation we had already seen during her state visit to the Netherlands. It features a crew neck design with Japanese-style sleeves and subtle ties that soften the structure.

It wasn’t a new garment, but rather one of those pieces that stands the test of time with its clean cut and effortless elegance.

In Letizia, the color blue is emphasized, illuminating her skin, adding presence, and enveloping the entire ensemble with a subtle yet vibrant aura that complements her.

The Russian tiara, a jewel with a royal history

To complement the dress, Letizia chose one of the most impressive pieces from the royal jewelry collection: the Russian tiara, a jewel that belongs to Queen Sofia and has only been worn on rare occasions.

Its origins can be traced back to Queen Regent Maria Cristina of Austria, the mother of Alfonso XIII, and it is inspired by Russian kokoshnik headdresses. It is a majestic piece, crafted from platinum, pearls, and diamonds, combining tradition and grandeur.

In Letizia, this tiara represents continuity and modernity within the Spanish Crown.

A style that exudes authority and natural elegance

She completed her look with earrings from the passing lot, the same ones that Infanta Cristina once wore on her wedding day. Details like that confirm the symbolic care behind each choice.

Nothing is left to chance. The Queen masterfully navigates the visual language where fashion and history converge.
