It seems Princess Sofia needed a short break from her new university life in Lisbon. Just two months into her studies in Political Science and International Relations at Forward College, the King and Queen’s youngest daughter took a few days off to escape to Madrid and enjoy a very special plan.

What did Sofia do during her trip to Madrid?
According to Semana magazine, the princess was seen walking and dining with friends at a Japanese restaurant downtown. Without any visible security or the formality of royal engagements, Sofia appeared relaxed, laughing, talking, and hugging her friends.

She wore a very youthful look, consisting of jeans, a loose sweatshirt, a scarf, and her hair down, exuding the fresh air that characterizes her.
A more natural and approachable Sofia
In the photos, Sofia shares secrets and jokes with her group of friends, including a boy she gives a warm hug. The Infanta has an affectionate nature and is comfortable showing closeness. Additionally, the getaway coincided with special dates, allowing her to celebrate the birthdays of Queen Letizia and Princess Leonor with her family.

Although she enjoys returning to Madrid, Sofia appears to be very settled into her routine in Portugal. It’s already known that she plays paddle tennis on weekends and has even made new friends at her university, where she will later study in Paris and Berlin.
