How Many Jars of Jam Has Meghan Markle Sold?

    13 January, 2026

It turns out Meghan Markle has sold nearly a million jars of jam. Yes, you read that correctly. Neither she nor her brand, As Ever, had disclosed the actual figures, but a technical glitch on their website revealed what no one expected to see so soon.

According to data that was mistakenly revealed, only 130,000 units remain in stock out of an initial order of one million. That means 87% of what you ordered has been processed. Not bad for someone who launched this less than a year ago.

Each gift box with its “Signature Fruit Spread” costs $42, so do the math. We’re talking about roughly $36 million in gross sales.

Of course, that money doesn’t go straight to Meghan and Harry, as they share profits with Netflix, their partner, and a portion is reinvested in the business. But it’s still a significant amount for a product that, technically, isn’t even jam, as it contains less sugar and more fruit.

Some food critics say it’s too runny and sweet, but the numbers suggest the public doesn’t care.

Interestingly, the glitch also exposed As Ever’s complete inventory. They have 80,000 packages of decorative edible flowers, 30,000 jars of honey, another 30,000 kits for making spiced mulled wine, nearly 90,000 candles, and 70,000 bottles of wine.

In other words, the jam is clearly the star of the catalog, while the rest of the products seem to be selling at a much slower pace. Perhaps people aren’t entirely convinced by the sprinkled flowers, or maybe the wine needs more promotion.

Meghan now plans to expand As Ever beyond the United States, including the United Kingdom. It’s a bold move, considering the symbolic weight of selling jam after everything that’s happened.

The source who spoke to The Sun confirmed that they will need to expand their warehouse to meet international demand.

We’ll see if the success is repeated or if this was just the initial novelty boost.
