Today at El Pardo, Queen Letizia once again demonstrated that she doesn’t take a step without a clear intention. For the National Sports Awards, the Queen brought back her signature color, red, in an outfit that screamed “total support” without needing to say a word.
The visual effect was flawless. It’s that shade of burgundy Spain that she wears better than anyone, and today it was used to celebrate a historic year for Spanish athletes.

What fascinates me about her choice isn’t just the tone, but how she adapts her image to the energy of the event. She appeared comfortable, dynamic, and had that special closeness she reserves for athletes.

Leonor and Sofia’s mother chose a Carolina Herrera design she first wore nearly four years ago. It’s a long-sleeved midi dress. A line of black buttons on one shoulder sets it apart. The skirt, unstructured and asymmetrical, features two side pleats.

She opted not to carry a purse and wore black Magrit shoes with a distinctive buckle on the front. As for jewelry, she wore small, minimalist diamond earrings and her Coreterno ring on her index finger.
