Infanta Sofia has been living in Lisbon for seven months, where she is studying Political Science and International Relations at Forward College. She has spring break from April 3 to 12, so she will most likely spend those days with her family, as they usually do each year around this time.
The Royal Household hasn’t announced any official events for Easter, but that’s almost a tradition in itself, because when they do appear, it’s by surprise.

In 2023, they went to Chinchón to see the Passion of the Christ; in 2024, they attended a procession in Madrid; and in 2025, they did not attend any religious events. So, we’ll have to keep an eye out.

What happens to their academic program after spring break ends?
On April 13, recovery days begin, and the second semester ends. The third semester starts on April 20, and June 5 is the last day of classes on campus. From then on, the countdown to the final exams begins.
After her usual summer vacation in Palma de Mallorca, Sofia will pack her bags again, but this time for Paris, where she will study for the second year of her degree program.

Infanta Sofia’s full itinerary: Lisbon, Paris, and Berlin
The plan is pretty much set. Three cities, three years. Lisbon is the first stop, Paris the second, and Berlin the third, where she will complete her university studies. It’s an itinerant education model which, when you think about it, is a perfect fit for someone studying international relations. Living in three European countries before the age of 22 is no small experience.

What kinds of internships you can do with your degree
According to the Forward College website, graduates of the Politics and International Relations program have completed internships at places like L’Oréal, Amazon, BNP Paribas, the OECD, EY, and even Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs. That’s quite a range. It remains to be seen which path she will choose when the time comes, but the options are there.
