What is known is that King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia are carefully considering each step. As the former head of the Royal Household, Jaime Alfonsín, once revealed, the princess’s education is a public responsibility that should prioritize institutional awareness and commitment to the country. Law, International Relations, and Public University
Leonor completed the International Baccalaureate in Wales, which allows her to enter the university system without taking the standard university entrance exam (Selectividad). However, according to experts following her case, she will most likely pursue a tailor-made curriculum combining Law and International Relations.
If she follows in her father’s footsteps, all indications are that she will attend a Spanish public university, thereby strengthening the Crown’s ties with the country’s institutions, before considering any specialization abroad.
