Queen Letizia wrapped up her institutional agenda on the mainland with an appearance featuring one of her freshest looks of the summer. The mother of Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia traveled to Jerez de la Frontera to chair the annual meeting of directors of the Instituto Cervantes. And, as is often the case, her outfit choice didn’t go unnoticed.
For this event, she chose a brand-new outfit designed by Hugo Boss. The centerpiece was a long, sleeveless vest with front buttons and subtle pockets, paired with wide-leg, fluid trousers from the same designer.
It’s a lightweight look that’s perfect for warm weather and shows that the Queen continues to find new ways to reinterpret the two-piece suit.
The rest of the look featured accessories that are already staples in her wardrobe. She brought back the white Metropolis bag from Furla and the Paula slingback shoes from Sézane, a comfortable combination for a day at work.
There was a subtle change in the jewelry, though, with PDPAOLA’s Sugar earrings and the Sidney necklace, designed by Bárbara Goenaga’s firm, adding a youthful touch with its heart-shaped clasp.
She also wore the two rings that have become part of her personal style—one by Karen Hallam and the other by Coreterno.
To me, it’s one of those looks that just works, with clean lines, great accessories, and a well-chosen color.
