Meghan Markle has just shared a personal detail she rarely reveals in public. During a discussion held after the screening of the documentary Cookie Queens in Los Angeles, which she and Prince Harry executive produced, the Duchess of Sussex shared the advice her husband gives her when she’s going through tough times. And, honestly, it reflects a very unique way of dealing with challenges.
Meghan shared that Harry often recalls a lesson he learned during his time as a helicopter pilot in the British Army.

“Hey, but my love, you know, even if there’s a storm happening above the storm, the sun’s always shining,” he told her years ago.
For the Duchess, that idea makes sense when you step back from your problems and look at the bigger picture, rather than getting stuck in a difficult moment.

During the conversation, she also explained that this perspective helps her remember all the challenges she has overcome and the goals that seemed unattainable but which she ultimately achieved. According to Meghan, there’s always a reason to trust that, above any storm, the sun keeps shining.
This isn’t the first time the couple has shared these kinds of reflections. Last year, Harry shared the advice he repeats most often from his wife. “Just stick to the truth,” a phrase he said guides many of his decisions.
