Once again, Queen Letizia transformed a summer night in Palma into a true lesson in style. At the closing ceremony of the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest 2026, held at the Centro Cultural La Misericordia, she chose a look that was a departure from her usual style. It was elegant, eye-catching, and had that Mediterranean flair that often characterizes her appearances in Mallorca.
The standout piece was an asymmetrical dress by Carolina Herrera in a deep burgundy red. The design, featuring one shoulder, a side gather, and a slit that revealed part of the leg, subtly enhanced her figure without going over the top. I was also struck by a detail that’s unusual in her outfits: a visible gold zipper that added a modern touch to the ensemble.

There were also interesting changes in her accessories. This time, she swapped out her classic espadrilles for contemporary-inspired Gucci sandals. She added a gold-tone rigid wallet by Begum Khan and brought back the Palma Oro earrings by Isabel Guarch that Princess Leonor had worn the previous summer. I think it’s a lovely touch, especially since those pieces are inspired by the Mediterranean palm tree, a traditional symbol of hospitality in Mallorca.

To top it off, the queen wore her hair loose with soft waves and makeup designed to enhance her tan. She also wore rings by Karen Hallam and Coreterno, two pieces that are already part of her signature look.
In my opinion, this has been one of the most successful looks.
