On Tuesday, April 28, Queen Letizia had a busy morning without leaving the Zarzuela Palace. She had three back-to-back meetings, all inside the palace, on topics as varied as public policy, rare diseases, and the Porque Viven Foundation.
For this packed schedule, she chose a look that many of us are already familiar with, but which she once again made her own with enviably effortless style.

The star of the day was the blue striped blouse by Adolfo Domínguez, the same one she wore for the first time in September 2025, which was a bestseller at the time.
The blouse has a loose fit, a closed neckline, and draped details, and she paired it with black high-waisted palazzo pants with a defined waist and a wide leg, just as she did the first time.

What changed was how she wore it: the blouse was tucked in, her belt was at her waist, and her sleeves were slightly rolled up. That last detail, so small, makes her look alive, not like a store window mannequin.
On her feet, she wore the wide-heeled Mary Janes that have become her signature choice, and she already owns them in black, red, and white. These particular shoes are made of black patent leather with a double strap on the instep and a five-centimeter heel. They are comfortable, versatile, and look just as good with a cocktail dress as with office palazzo pants. That’s what it means to solve a problem with good judgment.

It has to be said, Queen Letizia’s minimalism is a fashion statement for professional attire.
