Queen Máxima recently showed once again that she knows how to adapt her looks for all kinds of engagements, although this time there was a rather curious detail.
It was during her visit to Achterhoek, where she accompanied the Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning to learn about projects related to bioconstruction, that the Queen ended up driving a tractor through the countryside. And yes, she did so wearing an Ulla Johnson outfit that was far from unnoticed.
Maxima chose a yellow two-piece set made of cotton poplin. The short-sleeved blouse featured voluminous sleeves, a ruffled collar, and bow details, while the skirt followed the same design with a slightly flared, panelled silhouette.

A mix of brands that’s quite diverse, yet harmoniously blended.
And there’s one detail I particularly like about this choice. Ulla Johnson is a New York-based designer whose work maintains a connection with artisan communities around the world. For a visit focused on sustainability and bioconstruction, the ensemble ended up fitting quite naturally into the context.
