While King Felipe is on an official trip to Canada, Queen Letizia remained in charge of the agenda.
This Wednesday, she was at the Senate to present the 15th edition of the Luis Carandell Awards for Parliamentary Journalism, an event that suits her particularly well given her background as a journalist.

For the occasion, she brought back a red dress by Adolfo Domínguez that she had already worn in 2023 for Mental Health Day, and which, three years later, still works just as well.
The dress features a midi cut, a closed neckline, and cape sleeves, with a fitted bodice and a flared skirt—a combination that suits her beautifully and aligns with the sophisticated minimalism that defines her style.
The cape sleeves are the most interesting detail of the design, practical for warm weather and visually very clean. The front slit adds movement without disrupting the overall silhouette.
The vibrant red does the rest; it’s not a shade that goes unnoticed, and Letizia knows it.

The monochrome total look was the look of the day. Magrit’s red wide-heeled shoes feature the Mary Jane-style detail that she’s been wearing quite often lately, and a Menbur envelope clutch in the same shade completes the look.

For a touch of jewelry, she chose Gold&Roses earrings with diamonds and rubies a design she shares with Leonor and her usual Coreterno ring, which she has worn for over three years and was a gift from King Felipe.
There’s a curious detail in this look that’s worth mentioning. Leonor is wearing a dress that’s nearly identical to her mother’s, but in green.
