Although the heir to the Spanish throne is Princess Leonor, 15-year-old Sofia has already inherited another particular reign: that of the Internet.

The Infanta, who is the second daughter of the King and Queen of Spain, has been crowned as the most searched member of the royal family by Internet users.

Sofia, who studies the fourth year of ESO in the private school Santa Maria de los Rosales, is the most searched in Internet search engines, even above her mother, Queen Letizia, her father King Felipe and even the Princess of Asturias herself.

According to the portal ‘El Español’, internet searches on the Infanta Sofia rose last July when she traveled, along with her parents and sister, to Catalonia and participated in the Princess of Girona Awards.

But it is not the only time she has won, in the last Princess of Asturias Awards also accumulated the most searches.

For those events was the first time she wore high heels and also the only one of the family who was absent from the visit to Cadavedo due to health problems, which later the queen revealed that it was an upset stomach.

During her summer vacation there were also some spikes in searches, they were related to the times she appeared with the royal family.

Everything seems to indicate that the Infanta’s own style is catching on with the audience, who are interested in everything the youngest daughter of the Spanish monarchs does.

It only remains to be seen if the behavior in the searches about Sofia is maintained when Leonor finishes her studies at the UWC Atlantic College in Wales and takes a more active position in the institutional agenda.
