Spencer, who met Meghan in 2011 while they were working together on the hit series “Suits,” shared her enthusiasm for the project.
“What I’m so excited about is that people will really get an authentic look at the woman that I love and know,” the actress expressed in an interview with People.
She added that the show will not only be entertaining, but also educational where viewers will learn many things.
“I learned a lot from her and she actually gets to teach me something on the show. I’m just so grateful,” Spencer stated.
The show will follow Meghan as she cooks and shares moments with special guests, including actress and writer Mindy Kaling, chef Roy Choi and Tatcha beauty brand founder Vicky Tsai.
The series was originally scheduled to premiere on January 15, but due to the fires that have affected California in recent weeks, Meghan decided to postpone its release until March 4.
With a total of eight episodes, each 33 minutes long, “With Love, Meghan” was directed by Michael Steed and produced by Archewell Productions, the company founded by Meghan and Prince Harry.
Filming wrapped in July of last year, and the series is expected to provide a closer look at Meghan’s culinary and home side.
Since signing their $100 million deal with Netflix in 2020, Meghan and Harry have worked on several projects for the platform.
However, it is still unclear whether the contract will be renewed when it ends this summer.
Despite the speculation, Meghan is confident that her new show will be well received and will succeed in connecting with the audience.
