Without any need for ostentation, Princess Leonor has left a subtle but eloquent example in Catalonia of how jewelry can become a language in its own right.
During her participation in the events linked to the Princess of Girona Awards, her choice of accessories revealed a growing inclination for pieces with identity that express her personal evolution.
All the Jewels Princess Leonor Wore in Catalonia
At the awards ceremony, held at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the princess opted for a sober ensemble by Bleis Madrid and earrings with a history.
These are diamonds that have belonged to Queen Letizia since 2014. She added a small diamond in the second hole of her ear and a wide, wavy silver-toned ring, which has yet to be identified.
During her visit to Sant Martí Vell, the heiress opted for a discreet white outfit that served as a canvas for a display of carefully selected rings and necklaces.
She started the day with the “Mi Corazón” necklace by La Parisienne des Îles, a gold heart-shaped piece that exudes sweetness and simplicity.
Later, she received the famous “Open Heart” pendant by Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. as a gift, a symbol of emotional freedom and emblem of the Italian designer, whose work Leonor got to know closely during the day.
Her hands were a gallery of contrasts. On her right hand, she wore PDPAOLA’s Gravity ring, with its flowing shapes and gold finish, alongside Suma Cruz’s Burma Amarillo ring, inspired by natural textures.
On her left hand, two pieces by Suma Cruz also stood out: the Mini Coco, shaped like a crocodile, and the Capitolio, a robust design with pearls and an architectural feel.
The combination is bold, with nods to contemporary design and a taste that is not afraid to stray from the predictable.
