Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are once again using their platform to encourage civic engagement in the U.S.
As part of their Archewell Foundation’s latest initiative, they’ve taken steps to inspire unregistered voters to make their voices heard ahead of the upcoming U.S. election.
Meghan and Harry Urge Voter Registration Ahead of U.S. Election
On National Voter Registration Day, September 17, Archewell’s team shared a recap of their efforts, where they wrote personalized letters using the Vote Forward tool. The goal was simple: urge people to register to vote and take part in shaping their communities.
“Voting isn’t just a right; it’s a fundamental way to influence the fate of our communities,” read the statement on Archewell’s website.
The message reinforced the importance of civic engagement, emphasizing that regardless of political party, everyone’s voice matters in building a more just and equal society.
Archewell also provided links to Vote Forward and Vote.gov for more information, inviting people to get involved in the cause.
Although Harry and Meghan weren’t pictured participating directly in this campaign, it’s not the first time they’ve advocated for voter registration.
Back in 2020, the couple appeared in a video for TIME100, where they encouraged Americans to vote ahead of the presidential election. That marked their first joint TV appearance since stepping down from their royal roles and relocating to California.
