Joe Biden’s recent visit to the United Kingdom has sparked significant discussions.
The meeting between Biden and King Charles III exposed several protocol failures, leading social media users to express their discontent.
Furthermore, there were peculiar instances that once again highlighted the perplexing behavior of the President of the United States.
Biden touches King Charles
One of the initial viral moments on social media occurred when Biden arrived at Windsor Castle and was greeted by the king.
At one point during their walk together, the president placed his hand on the monarch’s back, a breach of royal protocol.
However, the Royal Household reported that Charles felt “totally comfortable” with this gesture, and the situation did not escalate.

However, a royal source clarified to People magazine that it was not a breach of protocol, as the protocol had been adjusted to allow the president to walk in front of Charles III.

Yet another criticized gesture was when Biden appeared utterly bewildered. This particular moment occurred when the U.S. president paused and conversed with a guard at the end of the line.
Charles III, seemingly impatient, attempted to pull Biden away from the soldier while the president continued speaking.

In the video, Biden can be observed glancing back and forth, displaying a certain level of confusion, before eventually following his host and walking away.
Political analysts critical of the Biden Administration did not miss the opportunity to mock the president on social media.
Comments such as: “King Charles needs to show Biden where to go. We are a laughing stock.”
“He looks like Mr. Magoo inspecting the troops,” were some of the messages posted on Twitter.
