Cara Delevingne amazed everyone with her outfit at the 2024 Met Gala!
The 31-year-old model and actress attended this year’s gala, which had a theme of “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” She wore a top that looked like armor and was covered in shiny crystals. This top had a hood, which made it even more unique. She wore it with a long white skirt that had a train and added lots of sparkly bracelets on both wrists.
Her makeup, done by Pat McGrath, was subtle but beautiful, with natural colors on her cheeks and winged eyeliner to make her eyes stand out. She took fun photos on the red carpet with Stella McCartney, Ed Sheeran, and FKA twigs.
Last year, at the 2023 Met Gala, Delevingne paid tribute to her friend Karl Lagerfeld. She wore a white shirt-dress with dramatic sleeves and a low neckline, all designed by Lagerfeld Couture. She paired it with black leather leg warmers, strappy sandals, and lots of silver jewelry. She even wore fingerless black leather gloves, another Lagerfeld favorite.
Her hair and makeup were very different from her usual style, with a greenish platinum hairstyle and bold black-and-metallic eye makeup. She told Vogue that she felt emotional about her outfit because it was a tribute to Lagerfeld, whom she considered an amazing person and friend.
Delevingne is known for her bold Met Gala looks. In 2021, she wore gold body paint, and another year, she made a political statement with a Dior outfit that had the words “Peg the Patriarchy” on the breastplate.
