Cardi B, the famous rapper, made heads turn at the 2024 Met Gala with her stunning outfit.
At the event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on May 6, Cardi B showed up wearing an enormous black dress that caught everyone’s attention. It was so big that it filled up the space around her on the red carpet.
To complete her look, she wore a tall headpiece resembling a beehive and adorned herself with beautiful green jewelry that matched the backdrop of the carpet.
This wasn’t Cardi B’s first time at the Met Gala. In fact, it was her fifth appearance at this prestigious fashion event.
Her previous appearance in 2023 saw her wearing four different outfits, making quite the impression. Last year, she wore a pink dress with jewels and a tulle headpiece, followed by a silver wig with a black headband. She also rocked a pink-and-black houndstooth dress and a spaghetti-strap newsprint dress for the afterparty.
Her very first Met Gala appearance was in 2018 when she proudly displayed her baby bump in a regal outfit designed by Moschino by Jeremy Scott.
Despite her bold fashion choices, Cardi B confessed in an interview earlier this year that she struggled with self-doubt in 2023. She felt afraid of criticism and hesitated to release new music or even post on social media.
But now, Cardi B is back in the spotlight with confidence, having released two new singles, including a collaboration with Shakira called “Puntería,” which she described as a dream come true.
