Princess Charlene of Monaco dazzled at the 75th edition of the Red Cross Gala, an event known for its charitable importance in the Principality’s calendar.
Every summer, this prestigious ball is usually presided over by the princess and her husband, Prince Albert.
Charlene of Monaco’s style at the 75th Red Cross Gala
This year, the Princess of Monaco stole the show in her stunning off-the-shoulder white gown, custom-made by the Louis Vuitton ateliers.
To add a touch of elegance, she accessorized with a gold belt that accentuated her figure, a clutch bag from the same designer and stunning yellow diamond earrings.
The gala was held at the iconic Salon des Etoiles at the Sporting Monte-Carlo. As the evening progressed, donors arrived and were warmly welcomed by Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, President and Vice President of the Monaco Red Cross, respectively.
Also in attendance was his niece, Camille Gottlieb, who has headed the Red Cross youth section for the past four years. Camille chose a striking red dress that elegantly exposed her shoulders.
Each year, the gala follows a structured protocol, beginning with the arrival of guests. This is followed by a charity raffle and the eagerly awaited gala dinner.
The highlight of the evening is when Prince Albert and Princess Charlene open the dance floor. The evening continues with a concert that concludes with a dazzling fireworks display.
Last year’s gala featured an unforgettable performance by British star Robbie Williams, whose energetic and heartfelt show left the audience spellbound.
For the 2024 edition, another British pop icon, Jamiroquai, took the stage. Known for his signature headdresses, Jamiroquai brought his unique style to the musical segment of the endearing event, appreciated by Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène.
The event is a gesture of recognition for the daily efforts of the employees and volunteers of the Monaco Red Cross, as well as a thank you to the donors who make it possible for the organization to carry out its crucial work.
While the main purpose of this gala is to raise funds through a traditional raffle held before dinner, the evening is also a celebration of art and culture.
The event was hosted by flamboyant Belgian presenter Tatiana Silva, ably assisted by skateboarder Taïg Khris, recently known for carrying the Olympic torch to Paris.
Throughout the evening, guests admired several works of art, including the sculpture “Ball Trach” (Dunant), by Belgian artist Wim Delvoye. This work of art was a tribute to Henry Dunant, founder of the Red Cross movement, and featured a replica of his bust.
