The changes in the British royal family are already beginning to be noticed after the death of Elizabeth II on September 8. One of the renovations are the new positions now held by some of its members. Charles and Camilla became king and queen consort, and William and Kate Middleton obtained the title of Prince and Princess of Wales. The former as the highest representatives of the crown and the latter as heirs respectively.
From now on the kings and princes of Wales are the ones who have the weight and responsibility to continue the legacy left by Queen Elizabeth during her 70 years on the throne. This means new challenges and great responsibilities in their new roles within the Firm.
Picture of Charles and Camilla with William and Kate
King Charles and Queen Camilla and Princes William and Kate are in a moment of change and have recently published a new image with which they wanted to make clear their roles, face the public and show who are the strong core of the British royal family.
Specifically, it is a very significant image in which the four appear together and smiling but marked by mourning, as the photograph corresponds to the day before the state funeral that received the Queen of England, just before King Charles presided over the reception for the heads of state of different countries.
“Their Majesties The King and The Queen Consort with Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales,” is the text that accompanied the portrait.

There is no doubt that Buckingham Palace wanted to share this photograph to reinforce the union of the strongest nucleus of the British royal family, after the heartfelt and remarkable loss of Elizabeth II.
