The guest list includes many people working on behalf of babies, families and young children.
The palace has also revealed that Prince William, Kate and their children George, Charlotte and Louis will attend. Musical guests will include the Westminster Abbey Choir, Adam Lambert and Beverley Knight.
The whole event will be recorded for the Royal Carols: Together At Christmas, which will be broadcast on Christmas Eve.
Kate will give an introduction on the importance of the early years and the work of the carers in supporting families and children.
