This Friday, on the first day of summer, Royal Ascot 2023 dazzled with its usual display of glamour and elegance.
King Charles III and Queen consort Camilla stood out for their impeccable styles, while Prince William celebrated his 42nd birthday in private.
The royals looked their best at one of the most important equestrian events in the British calendar.
The Royal Family on the Fourth Day of Royal Ascot
This tournament is famous for its strict dress code, especially in the Royal Enclosure.
Ladies must wear hats with a minimum base of ten centimeters, combined with a skirt, dress, trouser suit or jumpsuit that complies with the dress code.
This year, the attendees did not disappoint, displaying a variety of styles ranging from classic to modern, always with the elegance and decorum characteristic of this prestigious event.
Queen Camilla has been a constant presence at all four days of the tournament so far, and her return to Ascot racecourse in Berkshire did not go unnoticed.
On this occasion, Camilla opted for a midi dress in a soft mint green shade, perfect for the season and highlighting her regal bearing.
The dress, with simple but elegant lines, featured a discreet neckline and long sleeves, with ruffles on the cuffs and center part that added a special touch to the look.
Complementing her outfit, Camilla chose a matching wide-brimmed hat, decorated with feathers, and shoes in neutral tones, as well as a small handbag that completed her ensemble, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
The royal procession began with Camilla and King Charles riding in a horse-drawn carriage, accompanied by Lord and Lady Bamford.
In the second carriage arrived Beatrice of York and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who also stood out for their wardrobe choices.
Beatrice, 35, wore a green dress with floral print in dark tones, a design that evoked freshness and elegance, tight at the bust and with long sleeves.
To complement her outfit, Beatriz chose a beige hat with a structured design and a bow ornament, adding a touch of sophistication and subtlety.
Her hair pulled back in a ponytail and soft makeup enhanced her natural features.
Despite having attended the tournament on June 19, this was Beatrice’s first participation in the royal procession this year.
They were joined by Lord Frederik Windsor and his wife, actress Sophie Winkleman, who dazzled in an electric blue ensemble.
Her polished-line gown featured a V-neckline with white lapels, creating a classic and sophisticated contrast.
The waist-tight design enhanced her figure, and she completed her look with a wide-brimmed hat adorned with white feathers and pearl earrings.
While Charles and Camilla enjoyed the glamour of Royal Ascot, Prince William celebrated his birthday in a more intimate way.
Although Kate Middleton had appeared at the Trooping the Colour event on June 15, she did not attend the equestrian tournament due to her treatment and recovery in private, staying away from public life since Christmas.
Despite his absence this Friday, the Prince of Wales had been present at the racecourse on June 19. After taking part in the royal procession, he met with his in-laws, Carole and Michael Middleton.
In a touching gesture, the prince helped his mother-in-law when her heel got caught in the grass, showing his usual chivalry.
