Since the launch of American Riviera Orchard by Meghan Markle in March, the brand has experienced somewhat slow development.
Focused on lifestyle, its first product was a strawberry jam, of which Meghan distributed 50 jars to a select group, including close friends of Prince Harry such as Nacho Figueras and his wife Delfina Blaquier.
Now, almost three months after the brand’s launch, it was precisely Figueras, the well-known polo player and friend of Harry, who revealed what would be the next item in the Sussex line.
New products from American Rivieria Orchard
On June 14th, Figueras shared on Instagram a photo of a jar of American Riviera Orchard jam with a new flavor: raspberry.
This version seems even more exclusive than the previous one, as the label bears the inscription “2 of 2”, indicating that it is the second of only two products made.
Shortly after, Figueras posted another intriguing product: a container of dog treats. Although the jar lacked the American Riviera Orchard logo, the inscription “Dog Biscuits” seemed to be written by Meghan, as the handwriting is quite similar to that of the Duchess of Sussex.
These treats, along with other pet items, were listed in the company’s trademark registration applications, seeking exclusive rights to market under the name American Riviera Orchard.
Meghan and Harry, dog lovers and owners of three, reside in Montecito, California, with their children Archie and Lili.
The trademark registration applications detail a wide range of possible products, including cosmetics, home decor, stationery, bedding, small appliances, condiments, yoga equipment, gardening items, pet accessories, tableware, and packaged foods.
