The Duke of Westminster is not inviting Harry and Meghan to his wedding
Reports indicate that King Charles III and Queen Camilla and Prince William and Kate Middleton will indeed attend the wedding of Hugh Grovesnor, who is not only godson to the king but also godfather to George, eldest son of the Princes of Wales.
A source close to William and Harry told The Sunday Times that it is too sad the current situation between the siblings.
He assured that Hugh, being one of the few close friends who has managed to maintain strong ties and open communication with both brothers, regrets the distance that has arisen between them.
The insider assured that despite Hugh’s desire for them to reconcile their differences, he sees it unlikely that this will happen before the wedding.
For the moment, the Duke of Westminster’s main concern is to preserve the special day, especially for his fiancée Olivia, and to avoid any tension or unease that might overshadow that significant moment.
It is expected to be an unforgettable wedding due in no small part to the groom’s enormous fortune. The Duke’s net worth is estimated to be around €11 billion, putting him 13th on the Sunday Times Richest List 2022.
So far there is no official word from either the Sussexes or Buckingham Palace on the guest list for the Duke of Westminster’s wedding.
“We are not in a position to comment on the guest list,” a spokesman for Harry and Meghan said. While Buckingham has also declined to comment on the matter.
