The heir to the throne, Princess Leonor, has begun to make use of the jewelry box of her mother, Queen Letizia, as she grows older and attends more official events.
Mother and daughter share earrings and other jewelry on special occasions, demonstrating the close relationship that exists between the two.
Earrings shared by Queen Letizia and Princess Leonor
At 18, Leonor wears earrings and jewelry from Queen Letizia when she attends important ceremonies and events, such as the recent opening of the Cortes or the swearing-in as Princess of Asturias.
The heiress has been seen wearing designs from brands such as Gold & Roses, Chanel, or Luzz that Queen Letizia had previously worn.
Among the pieces shared were a pair of rose gold, diamond, and tanzanite earrings by Gold & Roses that Leonor received as a gift for her 18th birthday and chose to wear for her oath to the Constitution.
They have also shared earrings from Chanel’s Plumme collection, with diamonds and white gold, which she matched perfectly with her dress at the 2022 Princess of Asturias Awards.
The heiress to the throne for the Princess of Asturias Awards 2023, opted again for some of her mother’s earrings. These are aquamarines from Aldao jewelry. They consist of a ring made of white gold with diamonds, which can be worn alone or with a large teardrop-shaped aquamarine hanging from it.
Other recurring earrings in both are the yellow gold earrings inspired by bamboo canes or those given by the first lady of Croatia to Doña Letizia during her official visit to the country in 2022.
This closeness and complicity between Leonor and her mother is reflected in the frequent loans of jewelry between them.
The heiress knows that she can resort to the Queen’s exquisite jewelry box on big dates, becoming a nice tradition between mother and daughter.
