Holy Week begins in Spain and with it some days of rest for King Felipe and Queen Letizia.
The royal agenda of the monarchs reveals that they have decided to take a few days off to enjoy the company of their daughters. It should be stressed that Leonor will join the Military Academy and Sofia will leave for Wales, so the kings take any time to spend it all together.
Easter vacations of the Royal Family
In the past, the royal family used to travel to the resort of Mallorca to spend the holy days. However, as the years go by, that tradition is becoming a thing of the past. The only one who continues to travel is Queen Emeritus Sofia.
What is known is that this year, Felipe and Letizia have decided to enjoy a very relaxed family vacation with their two daughters, but without leaving Spain.
Although nothing has been confirmed, it seems that the couple will stay in Madrid and will take the opportunity to go to the movies, the theater, or a restaurant, as is usual for them.
When princess Leonor returns to Spain
The heiress will arrive in her country on Thursday, April 6 to enjoy the days off given by the UWC Atlantic College in Wales. She will be in Spain for approximately 10 days.
It is not known if she will appear in any public act or if she will take the opportunity to rest to face the new obligations she will have to assume when she turns 18.
