It appears Meghan Markle is once again at the center of a media storm, this time not due to a new project or public appearance, but rather a more internal issue: the departure of her tenth public relations manager in just five years.
Emily Robinson, who came from Netflix with strong credentials and experience on The Crown, resigned just three months after taking the position. According to a close source, “things must have been pretty horrible,” suggesting that the experience within the Sussex team was not exactly easy.

Robinson had worked on campaigns for series that were sensitive to the image of British royalty, and her hiring appeared to be a strategic move to reinforce Meghan’s media narrative. But, as has been the case with several of her predecessors, her tenure was brief.
Since 2020, when Meghan and Harry stepped away from royal life, at least ten communications directors have come and gone, with some reassigned to other roles and others simply disappearing from the radar.

The couple’s spokesperson attempted to downplay the situation, stating that Robinson “oversaw project-based work for a very successful season of *With Love, Meghan” and that her departure followed the successful completion of her objectives.
However, the pattern is hard to ignore. In recent months, the Sussexes have faced a wave of unfavorable criticism regarding Meghan’s culinary documentary on Netflix and her podcast, which failed to gain traction.

According to some experts, every team change indicates a sign of burnout, and in Meghan’s case, it appears her search for a consistent voice is still ongoing.
