The Spanish royal family is celebrating. This April 29, Infanta Sofia turned 17 years old.
The younger sister of Princess Leonor, 18, celebrates another anniversary of her birth at the boarding school in Wales where she is attending one of the two years of high school.
Although the young girl has always kept a discreet background, she will soon preside over her first institutional act alone.
Infanta Sofia always smiling and spontaneous, maintains a very close relationship with her father, King Felipe VI of Spain, who has assured that he counts on the Infanta to represent the Crown.
“The continuity (of the monarchy) is today represented, logically, by the Princess of Asturias, but also, we must not forget, with the company of her sister, the Infanta Sofia, who has to help a lot,” said the King of Spain last March.
